About Us

Situated in Northbourne, very near to Bournemouth Airport, the Crown is a community pub which offers a warm and inviting family friendly atmosphere. We have three bars: a lounge bar, public bar and dining area. Our large beer garden is perfect for all those warm summer days, and our offering of pool tables and a darts board means that anyone can pop in for a quick game. Our popular pub quiz night on Thursdays is the perfect place to come and test your knowledge and the various community lead activities which are held throughout the year mean that there’s always something to look forward to at the Crown.

  • Piri Piri Chicken Wings

    BBQ chicken wings served with a spicy Piri Piri sauce and cool sour cream and chive dip.
  • Goat’s Cheese and Caramelised Onion Bruschetta (v)

    Toasted ciabatta bread, drizzled with oil and topped with melted goat’s cheese and caramelised onions.
  • Mains

  • Chicken BBQ Melt

    A butterfly chicken breast, grilled and chopped with bacon, BBQ sauce and melted cheddar cheese. Served with chips and a side salad.
  • Pedigree Beer Battered Fish & Chips

    Battered in-house with our famous Pedigree beer batter. Served with chips and your choice of mushy or garden peas and tartare sauce.
  • Wexford Cheddar & Chutney Tart (v)

    A shortcrust pastry base filled with Wexford Cheddar cheese sauce, cherry tomatoes and chutney. Served with new potatoes and side salad.

  • Chocolate Melt in the Middle

    For all the chocolate lovers out there? An individual chocolate cake with a melting chocolate heart.
  • Bramley Apple Pie

    Slices of Bramley apples in a sweet shortcrust pastry, dusted with sugar. Served with a choice of custard, cream or ice cream.
